Card shows are the best place to see cards in hand, trade, and meet the people who sell and collect the same things you do. Here are the upcoming shows we know about around Australia, with sports cards, Pokémon and other card games, and the bigger collectables expos that have card traders.

Dates not announced yet
- Oz National Trading Card Show, Melbourne (Marvel Stadium, Docklands): Held in September in 2026. The 2027 date is not announced yet.
Tips for your first card show
- Get there early. The best cards often sell in the first hour, which is why many shows sell early entry or VIP tickets.
- Bring cash and your phone. Plenty of tables take card or PayID now, but cash still makes deals quicker.
- Check prices before you pay. Look up recent sold prices for the exact card and grade on your phone. MVCollect's Market Value does this for free.
- Bring sleeves and toploaders, and a box or binder for anything you buy.
- Check slabs in hand. Look up the cert number on the grader's website before you buy. See how to check a graded slab is genuine.
- Selling or trading? Know your lowest price for each card before you walk around, and put the cards you'll trade in their own binder.
