NRL Card Sets by Year: Every Select Rugby League Release (2000–2012)
Select Australia held the licence to make official NRL trading cards from 2000 to 2012, and like its AFL cards, the set name changed almost every year. Knowing the exact set is the first step to identifying a card and working out what it's worth.

How to tell which set your card is from
- Check the back for the year and the Select (or ESP, Dynamic etc.) logo.
- Look at the card number and any code. Inserts and parallels are numbered differently from the base set.
- Look for a serial number (like 12/99) and any insert name, such as a signature, team of the year or top try scorer card. These are where most of the value sits.
Then compare only with sold prices for that same set, insert and condition. Our guide to valuing AFL and NRL cards walks through it step by step.
MV's Market Value guide shows real sold prices in Australian dollars, one exact card and grade at a time. Free, no account needed.
Open the Market Value guide →On MV, when you list an NRL card you can choose the exact Select set from these lists, so buyers find it and the Market Value guide compares it only with the same card.
Listing on MVCollect is free, auctions can't be sniped, and sellers who join before launch become Founding Sellers with reduced fees.
